Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at cedarcreekcatclub@gmail.com if you would like to volunteer, need more information, or would  like to donate.

We offer Re-homing, rehabilitation, TNR Services, medical services and provide a safe space for  unwanted animals to be dropped off in the Cedar creek Lake Community.

We pass on none of these costs to the animals, they never get a bill. We rely on volunteers, members and donations to fund our projects.

TNR for cats is Trap-Neuter-Return.    This allows animals to return to their environments healthy and unable to populate. Lets take care of the animals we have. Prevent more.

Yes, playing card games is legal as long as " the house " is not taking a percentage, commission or " rake" of the games.    Money being raised is through dealer participation donation a portion of any dealer tips and or dealer appreciation fees,  snacks and non alcoholic drink sales and could include but not limited to direct donations from members in the form of cat and dog canned and bagged foods, animal supplies or volunteer work with the animals.

Thank you for wanting to help! We currently have a donation link to our GoFundMe. Apart from that, sharing helps! Bringing awareness and attention to organizations like ours helps us help them. Even telling as few as 3 people about us helps bring us traffic!

When we receive donations, we are able to afford medical procedures, spaying and neutering, along with feeding more hungry mouths. Donating to shelters and organizations helps us be able to assist dogs like Penny.

We are currently working on being more active on social media, along with weekly events to help raise awareness and fundraising!

As much as we would love to take in every animal, currently we are not able to home every animal. You are more than welcome to send us a message or email to receive information on the help you need.

Not every pet is the best fit for their person or home; we understand life happens. Sometimes it’s situations like not being able to afford them, their energy level, or friendliness. There are all types of reasons why, but we want to make it known that there are resources to help! Weather its re-homing, help with training, or even needing more food, you are more than welcome to reach out to us for help and resources!

Breeders are people who specialize in “breeding” animals to create more. Breeders aren't necessarily all bad; the reason for the reputation is the overpopulation of stray animals that need homes. Often, with constant breeding, that could possibly cause health issues in animals or deformities. It is best to adopt or due thorough research on breeders.

Dumping is the illegal act of leaving a pet or domesticated animal without care in either a public or rural area. It is inhumane, often fatal for the pet, and illegal, frequently resulting in misdemeanor or felony charges, fines, and jail time.

When you adopt or shop from a shelter or organization like ours, you are giving a second chance to someone who deserves it!

Stray and Penny have become somewhat of our mascots! Penny is a wonderful, energetic mom who was sadly dumped on the side of a rural road. Penny was thankfully found by one of our incredible “animal wranglers.” She gave birth to six beautiful puppies just shortly after. Stray is our “private security”; he is friendly and very kind. When we first found Penny, although we didn't know at the time she needed the extra food due to creating life, Stray was always happy to share his bowl!
